J.C.D. Kerwin grew up in New York farm country with a big imagination and a pen in her hand. She transferred her love of storytelling into degrees in creative writing and journalism, and is now the author of the award-winning novels Code of Murder and the Underground Dogs, among others. Today, she lives in the Capital Region of New York with her husband and their furbabies, where she writes speculative fiction, mystery, and the occasional poem. She drinks a reasonable amount of coffee, has an obsession with stationery, and doesn’t mind a rainy day or two.
